About CertiDocs
The starting point for understanding the process and reaching the right sworn translator in Belgium
Our mission
CertiDocs was born from a simple observation: certified translation procedures are often vague even though they affect sensitive cases. Our mission is to clarify the requirements, cite the right sources and direct you to a suitable sworn translator without wasting days on avoidable back-and-forth.
How it works
You describe your document, languages and timing. CertiDocs checks the framework of the request, highlights the points that need attention and connects you with a sworn translator registered with the FPS Justice when needed. We do not replace the competent authority; we make the procedure easier to read.
In plain terms: what CertiDocs does
No fog, no inflated promises. This is the model.
What we do
We clarify the procedure, help identify the right supporting documents and point you to a suitable sworn translator.
What we do not do
We do not replace the municipality, court or administration, and we do not suggest that an incomplete file will pass as it is.
How we verify
We rely on Belgian official sources and the FPS Justice register to ground both our content and our matching.
Corrections and dates
We display a publication or review date only when it is recorded for that page. Report an error through the contact page; we verify it against the source and correct it.
Who is accountable
Editorial lead: Hiliyeh Bashir
Hiliyeh Bashir sets the editorial direction, selects official sources and coordinates corrections for CertiDocs. This responsibility is not presented as sworn-translator status or legal advice. The guides explain procedures; the competent authority decides each case.
