Professional recognition follows a separate framework. Ask admissions to identify whether your application is for a first cycle, master’s or doctorate and which diploma assessment it requires.

Romanian-language document: the ULB rule as an example

Romanian is not among the seven languages accepted on ULB’s application-document list, so a document written only in Romanian requires a sworn translation. Confirm the target language with admissions. If the Romanian institution has already issued a version in an accepted language, send both versions to check whether translation is still needed.

CNRED authentication requested: which annexes?

If CNRED authentication is requested for using a Romanian diploma abroad, also prepare the transcript or Diploma Supplement: CNRED requires it with a bachelor’s or master’s diploma. For a master’s, it also requests the bachelor’s diploma that provided access to those studies. This is the Romanian authentication procedure; its list does not establish that a Belgian university requires it for your admission.
